Hello, I'm Shaurya Ranjan, class of 2026 at South Windsor High School. At the age of 14, I completed my treatment for stage 3 lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. The entire process was incredibly challenging, affecting me emotionally, socially, and physically. I was fortunate to have supportive parents who helped me through each chemotherapy session by giving me building block sets, which kept my mind off the nausea and other harsh side effects, and also helped me stay creative and active throughout my treatment. This experience inspired me to create Blocks of Hope. I want to help other kids facing similar challenges, and I hope they find comfort, joy and creativity in these building blocks.
